Let us work together to make this world a better place to live

A warm welcome to my home page!

I specialize in development diplomacy and strategy of international organizations. The areas of my academic and professional interest are reform of the international governance architecture, civil paths to peace and management of change in complex and exponential times.

Presently, I am working for the Commonwealth Secretariat in London as Director, Strategic Planning and Evaluation Division (SPED) and Secretary to the Board of Governors. The Commonwealth of Nations is an inter -governmental organization of 54 member countries aimed at promoting peace, democracy, human rights and development. It has more than 100 constituent organizations. Earlier, I have worked in South Asia, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe, and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) with the organizations such as the World Bank, UNDP, ILO, USAID, the British Council and the Government of Pakistan.

My hobby is learning about diverse cultures, societies and foreign languages. I also worked as a script writer, TV show anchor and actor in 1990s and like making documentary movies. My favorite books are “The Lessons of History” by Will & Ariel Durant, “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu, “Odyssey” by Homer and “The Old Man and the Sea” by Ernest Hemingway.
